This Beaumont Freeflow Short Spindle Spirit Measure is usually used to dispense wine into a C.E. lined glass, from a bottle in a bracket on the wall. The short spindle would be used for wine (usually red) not kept in a chiller cabinet. Wine by the glass must be sold in stamped approved measures- 125ml, 175ml, or 250ml. The 125ml measure is a "small" glass of wine and this size is required to be available by law.
