Delivery

Deliveries are made using one of the following services, National Carrier for parcel orders, Pallet Delivery Network for large orders and bulk shipping, our Own Transport is utilised for the majority of local and regional based customers.

If you have any special delivery requirements at the time of order please contact our customer service team who will endeavour to fulfil them.

Delivery times

Our standard times of delivery are:

8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Please note that someone must be available to sign for the delivery and Berties Direct Limited cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries due to inaccessible sites or no one being available to sign for the goods.

Delivery terms

All online orders under £70.00 exc. VAT are subject to a carriage and packing charge of £6.95 exc. VAT

All online orders over £70.00 exc. VAT qualify for free delivery.

Standard Delivery Service (UK mainland only)

Standard delivery only applies to mainland UK orders and excludes remote and offshore areas

Standard delivery service operates Monday to Friday and excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. If however you require an urgent delivery for weekends or a Bank Holiday please contact our customer service team who will endeavour to assist.

Delivery is usually made within 48/72 hours on stocked lines.

Standard UK delivery charge excludes Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight. For these areas please check the remote and offshore delivery information below.

Remote and off Shore Delivery Service

Remote and Off Shore Delivery Service includes Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight.

For Remote and Off Shore areas please allow 3-4 days for delivery.

VAT at the appropriate rate will be added to all delivery charges

Additional charges apply on larger consignments. Where this occurs we will contact you by email before we process your order.

Where deliveries are made and there is no one to sign to receive the goods, the consignment will be returned to the carrier’s nearest depot. We reserve the right to charge for redelivery if you are unable to collect the goods from the carrier’s depot.
